EXT. STREET - DAY

SHE walks slowly down the street passing a multitude of Christmas SHOPPERS checking out the market stalls in the center of the road. Other PEDESTRIANS make their way up and down the street ladened with bags full of Christmas gifts.

She passes a building out of which s Christmas song plays out into the street from a window high up on the apartment building.

She looks down at a yellow post it in her hand and reads the number 362 next to a street name.  She looks to her left at the number on the closest door, which reads 254.

She continues to walk down the street, but pays more attention to the stalls on her right.  She passes several stalls selling seasonal fruit and vegetables before approaching stalls selling local handmade jewellery.

She walks past a quiet stall towards a stall where several CUSTOMERS are standing talking to the STALL OWNER.  They are speaking in Spanish.  She stands and listens, a smile playing at her lips.

The stall owner nods in her direction, but continues her animated conversation with her customers.  She peruses the jewellery on the stall table before moving off down the street.

She continues to slip carefully past everyone and their packages until she reaches a green door to an apartment building with the number 362 in large gold numbers in the middle of the door.

She turns to a plate of names on the wall to her right and runs her fingers down them until she finds the name 'Pedro Fuero Serna'.  She presses a black button next to the name and waits.

Someone speaks out into the doorway.

VOICE
Digame.

SHE
Soy yo.

There is silence for a minute before the door buzzes.  She pushes the door open and disappears into the building.  The green door slams shut behind her.
